2006 and counting…
I can’t believe how quickly 2005 came and went. When I went on leave on December 15th, I couldn’t say I felt ready to end 2005. Now that we’re into 2006 though, there seems to be some sense of new beginnings. 2005 is not down in my books as “great year”, and yet even through all the change and stress and hard times, I have learnt a lot and grown as a person. I was hoping 2006 would be a nice chilled year… but I can already tell it’s going to be quite the opposite. I have some personal goals to achieve, and there are going to be plenty of challenges along the way. I guess this time next year, I’ll be looking back and see how much I’ve accomplished.
So, what else does 2006 hold? Well, I am hoping to get my hands on at least some early access releases of Clarion 7 and Clarion.net. Softvelocity Head, Robert Zaunere mentioned in a recent newsgroup posting that Clarion 7 and Clarion.net early access programs would be available in January 2006. He also confirmed that Clarion.net will support winForms AND webForms! This is great news, and I am very interested in investigating the new possibilities of my language of choice - Clarion!
So, with that, a happy 2006 to you all… I hope and pray that it is filled with abundance and blessing. ‘Til next time..
